Abstract
Summary: Administration of 1-hydrazinophtalazine — hydralazine to guinea pigs in a diet of granules (2.5mg/100 mg body wt per day) during 8 months induced the development of the so-called hydralazine disease i.e. an iatrogenic collagen-disease-like syndrome, and the antinucleoprotein LE-factor was detected in 37.5 per cent of animals.
